Liam Gallagher confirmed for the World Stage at Rock in Rio Lisboa 2020

For the first time in Rock City, LIAM GALLAGHER promises to make you thrilled with his hits, including themes from his latest solo album, Why me? Why not? (2019). The British star will spread magic on the World Stage on June 21st, joining the upscale soundtrack to be heard at Bela Vista Park: Foo Fighters and The National.

Considered one of the greatest icons of British music, William John Paul Gallagher, better known as LIAM GALLAGHER, jumped into the limelight as lead singer of Oasis, the iconic band that led with his brother Noel for 18 years. Gallagher is considered one of the most important elements of Britpop – the musical and cultural movement of the 1990s – and even after the cult band’s departure continued a long and successful musical path, both in Beady Eye, a band he founded along with some of the members of the old band, having been voted best vocalist ever by the readers of British magazine “Q” in March 2010. In 2017, Liam launches solo with As You Were (2017), which turned out to be a huge commercial success reaching the top spot in the UK and reaching the platinum. Your second and most recent work, Why me? Why not., Topped the British chart in 2019.

Two weekends filled with magic and excitement, with over 12 hours of entertainment spread across 14 attraction spaces!
