Some of the absolute best Norwegian hip hop has to offer, namely LARS VAULAR takes the trip to Bislett Stadium for the first time in September.
LARS (NESHEIM) VAULAR has been an audience favorite since he ruled the charts in 2010 with “Straight up and down”, and set a whole new standard for Norwegian hip hop with the album “All night, all day” the same year. Since then, the Bergen man has distinguished himself as one of Norway’s greatest artists, and through collaboration with artists such as Kamelen, Astrid S, Bjørn Eidsvåg, Unge Ferrari, and Myra has consolidated his position as an artist who crosses both genres and generations – which has given he won five fiddler awards and the honorary award at P3 Gold.
The 36-year-old has repeatedly been praised for his live shows and has over 500 concerts under his belt. In 2019, Gaffa wrote “The boss is back on top” after his sold-out concert at Sentrum Scene. “Vaular is more confident and charismatic on stage than ever. He treats his old material with respect and love (…) Vaular in 2019 is at the top of his game, and eager to demonstrate it”.
To put it mildly, such words make organisers excited about what happens when Vaular stands in front of a packed Bislett Stadium in September!
