In 1999, almost 20 years ago, RAGE released their most successful album to date. 13 is it name and it is one of three orchestral albums Rage recorded. In 2019 Rage will dedicate a very special show to this album’s anniversary, together with the Lingua Mortis Orchestra of course!

This show will only be performed once throughout Germany – at Wacken Open Air 2019.

The British metal band VENOM is considered a pioneer of the whole extreme metal movement and what we owe to this band can hardly be measured.

With VENOM INC. the two band founders Mantas and Abbadon and the long-time drummer Demoliton Man return to Wacken.  But VENOM INC. does not only pay homage to its own past, but on the contrary looks forward and produces new music.

A CRADLE OF FILTH concert is always a special event and also in Wacken we have seen some fantastic shows of the English Extreme Metal Band. In 2019 Dani Filth and his fellow riders will stop by again to bring us their current album Cryptoriana – The Seductiveness of Decay and plunge the sacred field into darkness once again.

SKYCLAD are an integral part of the history of both Folk Metal and W:O:A and we look forward to the band’s return. Recently they visited Wacken for the Wacken Winter Nights, now it’s time to return to the big brother of our winter festival.

Thrash and Death are the essence of THE CROWN, who last visited us in 2003. The Swedes have released a new album this year, Cobra Speed Venom, which shows the band in top form and full of joy. Don’t miss them!
