Organisers thrilled to welcome synth-pop icons GOLDFRAPP to the fields for the first time and back by popular demand we have THE SLOW READERS CLUB with another of their blistering sets! Whilst Soapbox returns with a side-splitting lineup featuring panel show titan MARCUS BRIGSTOCKE, one-liner maestro GARY DELANEY, breakthrough favourite TEZ ILYAS and loads more.

But that’s not all, organisers have added more live music from the likes of eccentric indie outfit FEET, Scottish indie blazers RETRO VIDEO CLUB, STANLEYS, MARIE WHITE and LINDSAY MUNROE, plus huge stage takeovers from xtra mile recordings and the beloved FRANK TURNER, EARACHE RECORDS, BBC MUSIC INTRODUCING IN CUMBRIA, OFF AXIS and BRIGHTER SOUND with their BOTH SIDES NOW takeover.

And it gets even better… Kendal Calling is celebrating its fifteenth year in the fields by unveiling a brand new immersive funfair destination ‘Carneville’ as part of this year’s theme Kendal Calling Goes To The Arcade! Expect three stages (two brand new for 2020), traditional funfair games and rides alongside a cast of quirky characters and more across the new late-night area.
