VIDA festival continues to add artists to the line up for its sixth edition with the addition of BEIRUT, an American band which was originally the solo musical project of Santa Fe native Zach Condon. BEIRUT‘s music combines elements of indie-rock and world music.

VIDA festival 2019 will be held from the 4th to 6th July 2019 at Masia d’en Cabanyes (Vilanova i la Geltrú) and BEIRUT joins the already confirmed HOT CHIP, SUPERCHUNK, THE CHARLATANS, DIDIRRI and STELLA DONNELLY.

Beirut, the musical project led by Zach Condon, announces the return of its magical Balkan reminiscences folk starring epic wind sections. After several years of silence and with No, No, No (4AD, 2015) as the last record reference, the Band of Santa Fe will release its fifth studio album Gallipoli (4AD, 2019) in 2019. A work engraved between New York, Berlin and Puglia that presents, according to Zach himself, a more “extreme” focus of sound making imperfections part of the songs.
