Today, the English hip hop sensation STEFFLON DON and the Korean Indian star shoot HYUKOH are ready to create a wonderful Saturday mood in August.
London-based STEFFLON DON reached a large audience in 2017 with the top ten hit Hurtin Me, which was a collaboration with American French Montana. The singer and rapper grew up in England and the Netherlands. In a few years, she has also been able to work with, among others, Skepta, Nile Rodgers, Future, Craig David, Halsey, Rudimental, Sean Paul, Lil Yachty and Jax Jones. So far, she has given the mix tapes Real Ting (2016) and Secure (2018), in addition to a large amount of singles as the main artist and in guest role.
Stefflon feels like a breath of fresh air, with her unapologetic bravado, her celebration of sexuality. The Guardian
HYUKOH from Seoul mixes inspiration from the West, China and Korea, and ends up with something completely different. After some EPs they debuted in 2017, and have since toured several times outside Asia. The album 23 was a great success in the home country, despite the fact that the band operates far on the side of Korea’s normal pop and rock bestsellers. They followed up with a new EP last year. HYUKOH has won several Korean music awards, and critics mention modern references such as Beach House and Arctic Monkeys.
Now they sell out venues in Europe. This will be this fantastic live band’s first concert in Norway.
Day tickets to Saturday, August 10th have been sold out for a long time and now it is falling sharply in the pile of weekly passes. It’s under 1000 left. Of course, we will be filling up our longest and most rich day of quality music, but the weekly pass is now the only opportunity to get along with this very varied festival day.
