One of the world’s most iconic rock bands comes to Heartland. Since its inception in Chicago, SMASHING PUMPKINS has sold more than 30 million albums, including over 10 million copies of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness from 1995. Billy Corgan’s immediately recognisable vocal has over the years added soundtrack to countless teenage dreams with a deep emotional expression, It fits perfectly with the band’s vast, almost theatrical live performances.

Band’s new LP – SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT, VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN- is produced by legend Rick Rubin, who has previously worked with everyone from Johnny Cash, Slayer and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Kanye West, Jay Z and Ed Sheeran. On the record, the original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin also participate in guitar and drums, in addition to Jeff Schroeder, who has been part of the group since 2007.

Since their debut in 2008, DIE ANTWOORD – African for ‘The Answer’ – has given attention to their unique approach to hip-hop, electro and ravine music.

The group itself calls their expression of Zef Style, an anarchic and almost punctuated musical expression that blends texts in English, Afrikaans and xhosa with hectic productions and a completely untouched stage show. Like VICE Magazine, it says: “Trying to experience The answer on a computer is like splashing around in the bathtub trying to experience the ocean.” There is nothing more than throwing up in the madness when they are on stage in Heartland’s beautiful surroundings in 2019.

It was like lightning from a clear sky when Scottish LEWIS CAPALDI broadcast his single Bruises in 2015, and everyone asked themselves about where the voice came from? A voice so heavy, profound, old-fashioned and filled with scars. But the owner was only 20 years old.
