While everyone else slept, Full Force festival has released a new monster: HATEBREED! In addition to WARGASM (UK) and WHILE SHE SLEEPS, festival organisers are knocking out more heavyweights today.
The lineup for FULL FORCE 2023 is like a tender little plant that wants to become a massive Venus flytrap one day. After the first flowers – in the form of ELECTRIC CALLBOY, JINJER, MANTAR and many more – saw the light of day a few weeks ago, organisers continued to water diligently. And the next shoots are already showing up, which will make you sweat beads of ecstasy on your forehead as rock-hard acts.
New FULL FORCE hardware: HATEBREED as co-headliner!
Hateful is not only the name of HATEBREED, but also their sound. And with that they devastate everything that isn’t nailed down. With thundering fury, the hate breed will beat their destructive hardcore riffs and rock-hard metal sounds around your ears. As co-headliners, they will target you in front of the Mad Max Stage in 2023 and burst the asphalt with their jackhammer music.
More heavy fare for the city of iron: From CHELSEA GRIN to ZULU
Everyone who, like us, was surprised by the short-notice cancellation of WARGASM (UK) last year has a reason to be happy at FULL FORCE 2023: this time, the London electro-punk duo will redeem their commitment with all their might. Without any gambling debts, but with at least as much enthusiasm, the guys from WHILE SHE SLEEPS spread their dry drums, melodic refrains, hard breaks and the mix of clean parts and screams on the FULL FORCE board.
Also on board are CHELSEA GRIN. While the band cleans up with their Deathcore broom from hell, DŸSE, even if the name suggests it, have little to do with vacuum cleaners. They are loud anyway and pave their way into your ear canals with their noise rock. And the guys from HARM’S WAY are already running into the booth. Anyone who knows the hardcore band knows that nobody can walk quite like James – Sledgehammer – Pligge. In the pride of lions, LIONHEART pay a visit to Ferropolis. Whether they will play “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” remains a question, but that’s probably for the best. Instead, they bring plenty of roar from vocalist Rob Watson, angry lyrics, hard guitars and heavy breakdowns. It gets astronomical with the French rap metal combo RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR. With their fat sound, their grooving riffs and their thrash elements, they make the celestial bodies flicker. And ZSK polish our faces with a good portion of skate punk.
Sound too good to be true? It gets even better. Because also at the FULL FORCE Island 2023 are: EMPLOYED TO SERVE, KUBLAI KHAN TX, MILKING THE GOATMACHINE, MIMI BARKS, STAND ATLANTIC, STRAY FROM THE PATH, VUKOVI, WEIMAR and ZULU.
