Groovin The Moo announces its 2022 line up!

After what seems like a lifetime waiting out the pandemic in a paddock, Groovin the Moo is back with a stack of artists for 2022. Whether you’re a first-timer or a festival fanatic, GTM is the perfect place to forget about the worries of the last few years. You’re free to immerse yourself in a world of pure happiness, incredible music and the funnest of times.

You, your friends and friends you haven’t met yet will be filling the paddock with a bunch of artists in Maitland, Canberra and Bendigo, featuring home grown heroes and international guests.

The Grooving The Moo 2022 line up has something for everyone – from new favourites like SYCCO, HOPE D, HP BOYZ and JK-47, to TikTok royalty MASKED WOLF and flat out legends and GTM alumni HILLTOP HOODS and SPIDERBAIT.

A huge contingent of Australia’s finest will be hitting the stages like loveable larrikins HOCKEY DAD, party starters PEKING DUK, ARIA winners MIDDLE KIDS and Eurovision conquerer MONTAIGNE. Remix maestros MASHD N KUTCHER will get you dancing, REDHOOK will provide the riffs and heavy metal lovers will be sated with POLARIS. A few familiar faces who played GTM in years past as local artists are returning, including SHOUSE, ALICE IVY and JESSWAR but this time they’re doing all shows.

It’s been a long time between opening our GTM gates and we can’t wait to see you again. And for those of you heading to your first Moo, we are so excited to welcome you. We’ve got more to share with you too – stay tuned for our Fresh Produce and Community Program additions coming soon.

Steve Halpin, Promoter at Cattleyard

Organisers are stoked to be welcoming seven artists to Australia, from their New Zealand neighbours, Persian-Kiwi rapper CHAII and pop duo BROODS, and from the UK, vibe-maker RITON and SNAKEHIPS. Fresh from London, “Loving You” Aussie THOMAS HEADON and pop-rockers WOLF ALICE join GTM for the first time, but returning funsters MILKY CHANCE (GER) will be able to show them the ways of the Moo.

GTM is not just about the music, it’s about the road trip and the destination too. There’s heaps to discover on the way to your Moo and once there, you can stay a while and immerse yourself in what makes each GTM and region so unique; from country cottages, to coffee, to craft beer, to crochet, to cheesemakers and everything in between. Plus, you can feel great about supporting the local community too.
