GREEN DAY is one of the most iconic bands of their generation. Formed in 1986 in Berkeley (CA), the group has sold over 70 million copies and accumulated over 10 billion streams. The record that revealed them to the world, Dookie, released in 1994, sold 10 million copies and achieved Diamond certification, rekindling popular interest and the spotlight on the punk rock genre and projecting the band towards a career full of successes and hits planetary.

In 2004, GREEN DAY released the rock opera American Idiot that captured the attention of an entire nation, selling over 7 million copies in the United States and taking home the Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. In 2010, a theatrical version of American Idiot was released which debuted on Broadway and received great critical and public acclaim.

Today GREEN DAY are the first confirmed headliners for Firenze Rocks Festival in Italy on the 11th June 2020 and they will be joined by WEEZER!
