Gojira, Spiritbox and Vended added to the Provinssi festival line up!

The big name in contemporary metal, GOJIRA, has gathered a devoted fan base with its unique sound. The bands latest and the seventh full-length album “Fortitude” (2021) uniquely fuses the influences of death metal, trash metal and progressive metal, grooves unfailingly melodically without forgetting straight forward heavy riffs.

Among other things, SPRITBOX, who operate in the middle ground between post-metalcore and alternative metal, became one of the most followed names in its genre with its debut “Eternal Blue”, released in 2021. This is also the opinion of the industry’s leading music media Kerrang! And Metal Hammer called their release the most anticipated debut album of the year. The Canadian trio has toured concert stages diligently, performing, among other things, as a warm-up for GHOST, who can also be seen at Provinssi Festival in 2023!

VENDED from the USA is also rolling with heavy conviction, presenting the next generation of metal sound. Formed in 2018 in Des Moines, Iowa, the lineup features vocalist Griffin Taylor, drummer Simon Crahan, guitarists Cole Espeland and Connor Grodzicki, and bassist Jeramiah Pugh. For the time being, the band’s Slipknot roots are mentioned, but the singles released so far, most recently “Overall” released at the beginning of November, present a band that stands strong on its own feet, redeeming all the expectations placed on it.
