The Colors of Ostrava program strengthens another big name – Scottish indie rockers FRANZ FERDINAND, winners of the Brit Awards, Mercury Prize and several Grammy nominations, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, will bring a selection of their biggest hits from the planned new album Hits To The Head to Ostrava this summer.

FRANZ FERDINAND closes this year’s main headliners. They will play on Thursday on the main festival stage before THE KILLERS, it will be a joyous guitar evening!

After the debut album with the global hit Take Me Out, the FRANZ FERDINAND quartet from Glasgow, Scotland, became the best British band, gradually receiving five Grammy nominations and with dynamic guitar rock adorned with strong melodies, they managed to conquer almost the whole world.

Recently, FRANZ FERDINAND has grown to five and the much younger Audrey Tait has sat behind the drums, but nothing has changed in her desire for concerts.
