Florence + The Machine close Friday night at Øyafestivalen

FLORENCE + THE MACHINE headlined Glastonbury in 2015, and convinced 65,000 as the top name at BST Hyde Park in 2019. Now she will end Friday in Tøyenparken with an exclusive performance, as this will be one of the few European festivals this summer.

Øya 2022 has already confirmed DAGNY, SUEDE, BRIGHT EYES, MOLCHAT DOMA, KAMAAL WILLIAMS, TØYEN HOLDING and SKARBØ SKULEKORPS for Friday, with many more names are added during the winter and spring.

FLORENCE WELCH from London has established herself as one of the great pop artists and concert attractions of our time. All of her four albums have been huge successes and she has regularly topped the album charts in the major music markets. Lungs (2009), Ceremonials (2011), How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (2015) and High as Hope (2018) have all taken her new steps towards her current status as one of Europe’s biggest stars. Total streaming figures from Spotify are over two billion. The second album Ceremonials has achieved impressive triple platinum status in Norway. So far, the last song was last year’s Call Me Cruella from last year’s Cruella movie.

She has won awards for albums, music videos and songwriting. At Øya Festival 2015, Florence showed why and how she belongs on the biggest stages. FLORENCE + THE MACHINE has the main line of the biggest festivals in many countries. Now organsiers look forward to hearing audience favorites again such as Ship to Wreck, Dog Days Are Over, What Kind of Man and Shake It Out in Tøyenparken.
