Flogging Molly, Gogol Bordello, The Hunna & more for Slam Dunk Festival 2023

Celtic punk legends, FLOGGING MOLLY will be storming their way to make their Slam Dunk Festival debut later next year. With 25 successful years and 7 studio albums under their belts, the seven-piece, punk/rock outfit promise to bring along a back catalogue of crowd pleasing favourites such as ‘Drunken Lullabies’, ‘Devil’s Dance Floor’ and ‘If I Ever Leave This World Alive’ to Leeds and Hatfield next summer.

Renowned for their theatrical and energetic performances, GOGOL BORDELLO lead the way of one of the performances not to be missed at next year’s Slam Dunk Festival. With members hailing from around the world including Ukraine and Ethiopia, the self proclaimed band of immigrants will bless festival goers with their experimental “gypsy punk” sound next May.

With a trio of albums in their arsenal which propelled them to global success, THE HUNNA have firmly cemented themselves as one of the most exciting rock bands around and today have been announced to play Slam Dunk Festival next year. THE HUNNA are a band who are guaranteed to produce huge, anthemic rock sounds, and are sure to send the festival crowd wild next year with their hit singles such as ‘Bonfire’, ‘She’s Casual’ and ‘Babe, Can I Call’ to name a few.

Festival favourites, punk-rock four piece THE MENZINGERS bring their huge frenetic energy back to Slam Dunk Festival as they bid to return to Leeds and Hatfield for 2023. Since forming in 2006, THE MENZINGERS have an impressive collection of 6 studio albums under their belts becoming known along the way for their pounding rhythms, roaring guitar riffs and their incisive songwriting, THE MENZINGERS are sure to bring a huge set to the festival next year.

Also joining the next wave of exciting announcements are Boston Manor, fresh from recently supporting heavy-weights Alexisonfire, BOSTON MANOR will be returning to Slam Dunk festival following their triumphant ‘special guest’ headline slot on The Key Club stage back in 2021. Since forming in 2013 BOSTON MANOR have become renowned for their anthemic sounds and high energy, promising to get the Slam Dunk Festival pits going next summer. Slam Dunk will also be the first chance to hear live their latest and highly-praised new album ‘Datura’.

Since recently teaming up with festival headliners Enter Shikari on the highly praised exultant single ‘The Void Stares Back’, unapologetically chaotic, electronic-rock duo WARGASM will also be making their Slam Dunk Festival return next summer following on from their recent successful UK tour. Also heading back to Slam Dunk Festival next year are metalcore outfit WE CAME AS ROMANS, after recently returning from a five year break with their eagerly anticipated sixth studio album ‘Darkbloom’, WE CAME AS ROMANS are sure to return to the festival with a bang.

After a memorable and energetic performance on The Key Club stage back in 2021, VUKOVI will be making their festival return next summer. A band that are famed for their lively and explosive live sets, Scottish rockers VUKOVI will be bringing their anthemic wall of sound to the festival featuring smash hits ‘La Di Da’, ‘Colour Me In’ and ‘I Exist’. American based, punk-rockers SPANISH LOVE SONGS are also amongst the names announced today. With 4 studio albums consisting of ‘Giant Sings The Blues’, ‘Schmaltz’, ‘Brave Faces Everyone’ and a re-imagined follow up ‘Brace Faces Etc’, SPANISH LOVE SONGS are guaranteed to deliver a fill of the Slam Dunk crowd’s punk needs. Californian post-hardcore outfit Movements are also amongst the latest names recently announced, after racking up millions of online streams with big hitters ‘Daylily’, ‘Full Circle’ and ‘Colorblind’ the Fearless Records’ quintet are set to make their Slam Dunk Festival debut next year.

Leading the way as one of the most inventive and pioneering new bands in the post-hardcore scene, Leeds outfit STATIC DRESS today joined the jam-packed Slam Dunk line up. Known as a band who come to life under a live setting, Static Dress will be bringing their energetic live force to next summer’s festival. The last of today’s huge announcements comes from SINCERE ENGINEER who will be making their Slam Dunk Festival debut. Since breaking out of Chicago and bursting into the scene, SINCERE ENGINEER are already making waves with notable support slots including newly announced The Menzingers, and will be bringing their fiery punk-pop sound to Leeds and Hatfield next summer.
