New artists include phenomenal rapper MACHINE GUN KELLY (USA), alternative rock band HIGHLY SUSPECT (USA), Mongolian metal group THE HU, Finnish alt-rock legend XYSMA, five-time Emma Gaala –nominee GETTOMASA, electropop pioneer RUUSUT, rapper PALEFACE and LAURI TÄHKÄ, who’s never before performed at Ilosaarirock as a solo act!

Other additions to the line-up include the Finnish favorites APULANTA, PYHIMYS, VESALA and ELLINOORA, metal bands AMORPHIS, INSOMNIUM, BATTLE BEAST and LÄHIÖBOTOX as well as indie groups MAUSTETYTÖT, RÄJÄYTTÄJÄT and KARINA.

Previously announced acts include ANTTI TUISKU, TONES AND I (AUS), YUNGBLUD (UK), OF MONSTERS AND MEN (ISL), TEHOSEKOITIN and BELZEBUBS (HELL).
