Leading artists from Britain, ELLIE GOULDING and MARINA visit Ruisrock this summer!

ELLIE GOULDING, one of the UK’s largest pop stars, rises to the Ruisrock stage on the festival Friday. Last autumn, she released her newest music, as expected, when the single ‘Close to Me’ was released in collaboration with another artist at Ruisrock. This year, the artist, who is famous for her original vocal voice, is hoping for a new album that has already gathered the glow from the media.

The award-winning and platinum-bound singer MARINA picks up the most interesting influences from both the underground and the mainstream, resulting in songs from melancholic ballads to glampop. Previously known as Marina and the Diamonds, the artist released fresh music early in the year, and the fourth album, Orange Trees, was released last week.

One of the most asked after artists for the festival is LYKKE LI. During her ten-year career, she has grown into one of the most popular artists in her home country, Sweden, and she continues to reform and surprises critics and audiences.

The US-based American rapper and record producer, JPEGMAFIA, makes his first appearance in Finland in 2019. The much-acclaimed album, ‘Veteran’, was published last year and brought him one of the most interesting experimental raps.

In addition to new artist fixings, Ruisrock includes TRAVIS SCOTT, BROCKHAMPTON, RITA ORA, THE 1975, MØ and SIGRID. More program releases and other festival news are expected during the spring.
