Firenze Rocks continues to surprise by unveiling the names of international superstars who will be on stage at the Visarno Arena in Florence next June.
In fact, DREAM THEATER, BADFLOWER and SKINDRED have been announced before THE SMASHING PUMPKINS and TOOL on the opening day of the festival, Thursday 13th June 2019.
DREAM THEATER are back on tour in Italy to present their new album Distance Over Time released on 22nd February 2019 and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their fifth album, Metropolis Pt.2: Scenes from a Memory (1999).
In their career the historic band formed by John Petrucci, John Myung, James Labrie, Jordan Rudess and Mike Mangini has sold over 12 million records and received two Grammy Awards nominations.
SKINDRED, however, have consolidated their position as one of the biggest alternative metal bands in the UK with their new album Big Tings, released last April. To date, the band has released 7 studio albums, 11 singles and 13 music videos.
The day will also be opened by the US rock band BADFLOWER, whose debut album titled OK, I’m sick will be released on 22nd February 2019 on the Big Machine / Universal Music label.
