Get Ready To Do The Newport Helicopter – The Welsh ragga-punk-metallers are back! The mighty SKINDRED will take to the Main Stage on Friday night. Expect ‘Big Tings’ from these guys, you’ll want to get practicing for the pit now: we hear nobody gets out alive.

Yo-ho, yo-ho, a pirate’s life for us – it’s none other than ALESTORM! They’ll also be playing the Main Stage on Sunday. Look out for the giant rubber duck.

Industrial rockers SKYND write tracks inspired by serial killers, unsolved murders, and all that gory stuff, so if you’re into true crime, these guys’ll be right up your street. Don’t miss them on the Second Stage on Friday.

LA rock outfit DIRTY HONEY will also take to the Second Stage on Saturday afternoon. The 70’s influenced quartet have supported the likes of Guns ‘N’ Roses and The Who, so get ready for some “new-fashioned” rock ‘n’ roll.

21-year old KID BRUNSWICK worked with Mike Shinoda on his 2021 record ‘XForever’, which has now racked up millions of Spotify plays. Described by Rock Sound as “a thick mesh of punk attitude and pop sensibility”, we can’t wait to hear these tracks in the Avalanche tent.

Brighton riffmakers YONAKA are ready to blow the roof off the Dogtooth tent. Not heard ’em yet? ‘Don’t Wait ‘Til Tomorrow’… check them out now. BIMINI rose to fame on Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK, and has since been making waves with punk-tinged single ‘God Save This Queen’. What’s next for them? Playing Download of course, what else?!

If you like things super heavy, you’ll want to check out Swedish death metal fourpiece ORBIT CULTURE, as well as one of the heaviest bands in the UK right now, HERIOT. Both of their sets are guaranteed to give you a bangover.
