Commonly referred to as the signature DGTL stage, Modular has always been the home-base for some of our most memorable experiences over the years. Masterfully adapting the sounds of each of our other stages through more melodic interpretations of techno, the expansive and highly visual stage will deliver an eclectic weekend line-up during the weekend of April 11th and 12th.

Modular Saturday, will open with artist COLYN – evoking soaring nostalgic memories through delayed synth stutter and euphoric grooves. The quickly rising artist first started producing music 9 years ago and has been steadily making his mark ever since. Fan favorite ADRIATIQUE also makes their highly anticipated return this year. Considered as one of the most consistently delivering DJs in techno and house, the Swiss duo has played on our stages in Tel Aviv, Barcelona and Amsterdam. We can’t wait for their relentlessly building productions intertwined with hypnotic grooves. It goes without saying that our classic stage would not be complete without a stellar back to back. KRISTIN BEYER, better known as one half of German duo Âme, will play a special back to back with MARCEL DETTMANN – one of the most influential advocates of contemporary techno. Fresh off the heels of the first edition in Bengaluru, techno pioneer and visionary SVEN VÄTH will make his DGTL Amsterdam debut. A major advocate of the vinyl, ‘papa Sven’ and his 30 year career has played a key role in the techno revolution not just in Germany but also in Ibiza.

Modular day 2 will then proceed to present a monumental program filled with special performances. After the magic witnessed during last year’s Amsterdam edition, HONEY DIJON will return to NDSM docklands blending genres with her versatile and instinctive sound. Re-live her dance-floor chaos at last year’s Barcelona edition. Another one to watch out for, MARTIN GRETSCHMANN aka ACID PAULI will integrate not just house and techno but a variety of genres beyond dance music. Consistently delivering advanced DJ sets, he is equally comfortable performing at techno clubs in New York as he is writing film music. We’re eager to watch him in action as he deviates from the mainstream. Visitors at Modular can also expect to hear the ear-catching melodies of Amsterdam-based DJ and Producer TRACEY. Emitting a myriad of  styles within his releases, his palette of influences is far-reaching and wide.

A personal highlight for us, THE BLACK MADONNA and HAAi will play a special back to back for the 8th anniversary of DGTL Amsterdam. The two artists have created some of our most memorable dance-floor moments at our editions in Madrid, ADE and Amsterdam and we can only imagine what awaits us when they join forces. Ending the day in a way only he can, Bonobo will end our weekend program at Modular.  Experience his lush organic instrumentation and transcendent electronic sound that has garnered over half a million album sales and a loyal global fanbase.
