1349 is the soundtrack to Norwegian black metal. The Spellemann-nominated quartet is constantly touring around the world, and is sure to draw many international visitors to a concert at home. Now the damn machine that is 1349 are back with their seventh album “The Infernal Pathway”.

Earlier this year they released the single “Deathfight”, which is a commission work commissioned by the Munch Museum, Innovation Norway and Visit Norway. Guitarist Archaon stated in connection with the release that: “Munch is perhaps the largest Norwegian artist through history, along with Edvard Grieg. His works are enormously dark and unkind, reflecting a lot of anxiety, pain, and loneliness, as I interpret them. The mission was great for us”.
