The original Reggae selector, DAVID RODIGAN & THE OUTLOOK ORCHESTRA will be headed to south London next summer for an open-air spectacular at South Facing Festival. Taking place on Sunday 6th August 2023!
South Facing Festival is the capital’s biggest series of open-air concerts from the biggest names in music, taking over the Crystal Palace Bowl – a venue rooted in South London and steeped in musical history. Since its debut in 2021, South Facing Festival marks a new era in outdoor entertainment with an unbeatable line-up with artists spanning the worlds of rap, indie, rock, pop, classical and more.
DAVID RODIGAN MBE is one of the most influential broadcasters and legendary DJ with a career spanning four decades. He will be joined at South Facing Festival by THE OUTLOOK ORCHESTRA, the 25-piece musical tour de force founded in 2017. This one-of-a-kind performance will serve up a summer’s evening of reggae and an unmissable masterclass in the music born from the sound system culture.
Joining the line-up and performing alongside David is a line-up of incredible special guests, including full sets from MAXI PRIEST, EEK-A-MOUSE, SISTER NANCY, BITTY MCLEAN, JAZZIE B (Soul II Soul), DON LETTS and many more as well as guest vocalists joining David and the Orchestra on stage, including BITTY MCLEAN, LIAM BAILEY and HOLLIE COOK to name a few.
