D-A-D was formed back in 1982 in Copenhagen under the name Disneyland After Dark. After their debut in 1986, the bands career progressed quickly and with the records No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims (1989) and Riskin’ It All (1991) they became incredibly popular in Sweden. This popularity has continued year after year and there are lots of Swedes who have songs like Sleeping My Day Away, Laugh ‘n’ A 1/2 and Bad Craziness as their favourites.
The band was founded by Jesper Binzer (vocals/guitar), Jacob Binzer (guitar), Stig Pedersen (bass) and Peter Jensen (drums) but in 1999 drummer Peter left the band and was replaced by Laust Sonne.
Their latest album “A Prayer For The Loud” (2019) was well received by critics and fans. A record that oozes D-A-D into the fingertips.
