Czech Festival Rock For People adds more bands!

The quartet from Brno, ACUTE DOSE, masterfully juggles different kinds of music and sends a message of eclectic pell-mell. Their concerts are known for high energy, spontaneous gestures and fast bpm. On their last album “II”, they spat out original sound, unrivalled on the Czech scene. They took part in BuSH showcase in Hungary and in 2019 they are going to the Slovenian MENT. They supported King Krule in Roxy, Prague. Now they are working on their third record and will play Rock For People festival in 2019!

Mutual love between Rock for People and SHOSHIN lasts since 2013. Michal Thomes discovered them the year before at The Great Escape when they played on the street in Brighton. Since then he regularly brings the trio who mix rock, reggae, soul, hip hop and latino into an energetic whole to the Czech Republic. At Rock for People you can look forward to their long-awaited novelty A Billion Happy Endings. All good things to those who wait.

DON BROCO are a four-piece alternative rock band. Formed in Bedford in 2008 the band consists of Rob Damiani (lead vocals and electronics), Simon Delaney (guitar), Tom Doyle (bass) and Matt Donnelly (drums and vocals). The band’s debut album Priorities was released 13 August 2012. Their style has often been related to genres such as alternative rock, pop rock and post-hardcore by reviewers.

At Rock For People we can looking forward to their new album from this year. BTW: With the new album they activated a video game named after their album – Technology!
