One of the artists to be seen on Saturday night in Ruisrock is the pop and R&B superstar CAMILA CABELLO. She has broken a dizzying number of chart records and taken over the music world with her pop hits that have influences from latin music. Her very first single, “Havana”, made it to the top of the Billboard Hot Top 100 list, immediately making her one of today’s hottest pop stars.

On Friday, the stage will be taken by MAJOR LAZER, the leading name in electronic dance music. The trio combine electronic dance music with reggae, dancehall, house and moombahton. Their releases include three full-length albums and several catchy singles, and they have held their position as one of the world’s best known and most streamed EDM artists for a decade.

Other new international additions to the line-up include BISHOP BRIGGS as a powerful representative of the young generation of songwriters, original indie pop singer-songwriter CLAIRO as well as hip-hop stars LIL TECCA, MEEK MILL and POP SMOKE.

The artist line-up will also include pop star ANTTI TUISKU, who is known for his spectacular live performances; JVG, one of the most popular Finnish artists at the moment; long-time rock trendsetter MAIJA VILKKUMAA; pop talent ELLINOORA; rapper PYHIMYS, whose albums have made the headlines; and one of Finland’s most charismatic electronic pop artists, SANNI. For one of Finland’s most internationally successful rock bands, b RASMUS, their performance at Ruisrock will be their only Finnish festival gig this summer. They will be celebrating the anniversary of their breakthrough album “Dead Letters”.
