Black Stone Cherry confirmed for Lakes Jam festival 2023

Southern rock international touring act BLACK STONE CHERRY will be opening the stage at Lakes Jam in 2023 for Thursday’s headliner SKILLET.

BLACK STONE CHERRY is known for their “burly riffs and stirring hooks” that create their Southern rock plus heavy metal sound. Digital fans have streamed their songs hundreds of millions of times. Jammers will get to hear all their favorites including “White Trash Millionaire” and “Blame It on the Boom Boom” live in concert.

With their 2018 release of Family Tree, the band paved their own path in rock music by debuting at #8 in Current Rock Albums, #4 in Current Hard Music, and #21 in Top Current Album.

Guitarist and vocalist Ben Wells commented on their 2020 album The Human Condition saying, “With this one, we cranked up the amps, the drums are in your face, and there are some really heavy riffs. After 19 years and 7 albums, we wanted to prove that we still kick ass. This album feels like a rebirth.”

With almost 20 years of international touring experience with bands like Guns N Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, and more, BLACK STONE CHERRY is going to shake Jammers’ bones.
