After The Chemical Brothers, Soulwax, Booba, Mura Masa, Tyler, the Creator, alt-J, Paul Kalkbrenner and about sixty other names already announced, we have a new burst of artists and bands joining the line-up.
Let’s start with Danish singer MØ, a true energic pop queen, who is joining producer Diplo with whom she has collaborated on global hits such a “Get It Right” and “Lean On”. Still Scandinavian, the Swedes of LITTLE DRAGON are coming to cloud the festival with their foggy indie pop. The Belgians of JUICY and FÙGÙ MANGO will both bring their freshness, as well as the two French bands BAGARRE and L’IMPÉRATRICE.
In hip-hop, Dour continues his role as a talent spotter with 2 new American rappers climbing the ranks, GOLDLINK and 070 SHAKE are hidden gems ready to be discovered. Just like the Indonesian RICH BRIAN, already well involved in the US rap game. To represent the Belgian scene, we have the pleasure to announce again the duet CABALLERO & JEANJASS and the rising MC that escaped L’Or du Commun, SWING, who will present his solo project.
In the electronic scene, we invite one of the queens of the night, PAULA TEMPLE in b2b with the English REBEKAH. On the agenda once again, the American BLACK MADONNA, favourite of all festivalgoers after a fantastic performance last year. For the first time on the Red Bull Elektropedia Balzaal we welcome MR. OIZO and his wacky sets, just like his fellow Frenchman UMWELT. The Italians from MIND AGAINST and the Swiss duo ADRIATIQUE are completing the picture.
The hard rock scene is slowly taking shape with the arrival of the German trio KADAVAR, the 2 American bands PALLBEARER and EYEHATEGOD, just like the Californian gothic priestess CHELSEA WOLFE. And let’s finish with the bright post-punk coming from the Canadian PREOCCUPATIONS.
To conclude, the dub scene also welcomes a number of artists with a mix of legends such as U-ROY & MAD PROFESSOR, KEN BOOTHE and CHANNEL ONE and some pretty fresh names such as BIGA*RANX and the dazzling HOLLIE COOK.
