Ben Howard & Snow Patrol confirmed for the Eden Sessions

Organisers are delighted to announce that an Eden Sessions series of concerts will be going ahead this September, and even more delighted to tell you that BEN HOWARD is the first act to be confirmed!

The mercurial singer-songwriter will be performing in front of the Biomes on Saturday 11 September 2021 as part of the September 2021 Sessions line-up.

The announcement follows the recent release of Ben’s fourth studio album Collections From The Whiteout, produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner, which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. The album shows that BEN HOWARD’S muse has never been in finer fettle and in it, he has created the best record of his career.

In 2011, Ben released his hugely successful debut LP Every Kingdom and in 2013, he won both the British Breakthrough Act and British Male Solo Artist categories at the BRIT Awards. Ben’s second album I Forget Where We Were reached number one on the UK Albums Chart in 2014. His third album Noonday Dream was listed at number 11 in The Independent’s 40 best albums of 2018.

Ben’s return to Eden in September will be his fourth time appearing here. Prior to his headline appearances in 2018 and 2015, he played slots on the outside stages in 2010.

SNOW PATROL are the next incredible act named for this year’s September 2021 Sessions line-up.

The rock superstars will be performing in front of the Biomes on Thursday 16 September 2021, and will be joined by special guest Irish singer-songwriter LUCY BLUE.

In 2020, SNOW PATROL released the five-track EP The Fireside Sessions. The tracks were written in collaboration with the band’s fans as part of their Saturday livestreams and recorded during lockdown. All proceeds from sales and streaming downloads went to The Trussell Trust charity, who support a network of foodbanks in the UK.

Since their debut album in 1998, the band have accumulated many critical and commercial accolades, including more than 15 million global album sales, more than one billion global track streams, five UK Platinum Albums, and are Grammy, BRIT Award and Mercury Music Prize nominated.

Alongside Chasing Cars, other notable hits from the band are Run, You’re All I Have, Signal Fire, Take Back the City, Just Say Yes and Called Out in the Dark.
