Basement Jaxx, Wiley, Jax Jones, Stefflon Don & More announced For Liverpool International Music Festival

Last year Liverpool International Music Festival attracted over 120,000 music lovers, further cementing Liverpool’s reputation as a must-visit destination, a city that celebrates this year a decade of European Capital of Culture. LIMF is the current voice of this global music city with an experimental yet accessible programme for all. Thanks to its consistently unbeatable line-up, LIMF is now one of the leading music festivals in Europe.

LIMF will take place in Sefton Park with an eclectic and diverse line-up spanning three stages and a dedicated dance tent as well as activities for all the family to enjoy. 

HAÇIENDA CLASSIÇAL top the Sunday night bill on the Central Stage with a brand new set for 2018 which will see the club’s original DJ partnership, Graeme Park and Mike Pickering, reinterpret seminal dance classics with the Manchester Camerata orchestra alongside some special guests. They head to LIMF following an incredible 2017 which saw them open Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage and play sold out dates across the UK including The Royal Albert Hall and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl.

Also performing on the Central Stage will be the original godfather of grime and MBE, WILEY, who will be bringing his own inimitable brand of the genre to LIMF.  BASEMENT JAXX, one of England’s most successful electronic acts globally will play a headline DJ set and EXAMPLE & DJ WIRE will bring their renowned high energy festival act to LIMF, one not to miss.

Known for bringing the best in new music to Liverpool, Liverpool International Music Festival confirms one of the most talked about rap artists and the winner of NME’s ‘best new artist’ 2018, STEFFLON DON as well as the Norwegian singer songwriter AURORA and UK pop artist RAE MORRIS. Celebrating a diverse programme of genres, LIMF confirms legendary DJs to showcase the classic sounds of Soul, Hip-Hop, R&B, Funk and Disco including DJ JAZZY JEFF, JAZZIE B, TREVOR NELSON, GILLES PETERSON to perform on the True School Club House stage. For an unadulterated urban house party, there will be DJ sets from big names in Urban and Dance, RITON, TOUGH LOVE, TODDLA T and more in The Shubz DJ Tent. Proudly supporting the sound of the next generation from Merseyside, LIMF confirms a dedicated its Liverpool Next Gen Stage, powered by the LIMF Academy, with artists to be revealed over the coming weeks.

LIMF forms part of the Liverpool 2018 programme which is supported by the City Region Combined Authority with £5 million from the Single Investment Fund. Capital Liverpool is the official radio partner for LIMF.
