People of ROCK THE CASTLE – finally here we are! After months of work and uncertainty organisers are now able to give you all the information relating to the next edition of the festival.

The confirmed dates for ROCK THE CASTLE 2022 are Thursday 23rd June – Sunday 26th June at the Scaligero Castle in Villafranca di Verona.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD are finally back for a single Italian date! Accompanying them the revelation band of recent years JINJER, the frontman of Alter Bridge MYLES KENNEDY and Company, the American CODE ORANGE and others to be confirmed for a day dedicated to the best of contemporary metal.

MERCYFUL FATE confirmed as headliner led by the great King Diamond! Before them BLIND GUARDIAN with the long-awaited special show by fans focused on their masterpiece album “Somewhere Far Beyond”, the legendary VENOM led by Cronos and the historic DEATH SS who for the occasion will perform an old-school set dedicated to the classics of the first albums! To close the line up there will be other surprises that organisers will reveal shortly.

Also confirmed are JUDAS PRIEST who will celebrate 50 years with their fans. To complete this unmissable day dedicated to traditional metal there will be the stainless SAXON, the farewell show of the UFO, the historic ANGEL WITCH and other bands that will be announced at a later date.

MEGADETH are back on the stage of ROCK THE CASTLE! Dave Mustaine’s band will be joined by real heavyweights of the metal scene such as MASTODON, KREATOR and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES. To open the dances you can see BARONESS and THE INSPECTOR CLUZO.

A weekend, four days, forty-eight hours of music accompanied as always by good food, quality beer, free water for everyone, entertainment, free meetings with the bands and much more to live 100% the experience of a festival in a of the most beautiful locations in the world!

ROCK THE CASTLE also confirms its commitment to the ecological field by adopting eco-sustainable solutions and eliminating single-use plastic within the festival.
