Next summer A$AP ROCKY is bringing the loudest hip hop performance to the Baltic as a Positivus festival headliner.
After unforgettable 13 years in Salacgriva, during which the popular music and art festival Positivus has become a special event in many lives of people will start a new beginning in 2022. Positivus festival will take place in the capital city Riga.
The list of musicians who have visited the Positivus festival so far is so impressive that sometimes it’s hard to believe it. We are thankful for everyone who has experienced at least one of the festival’s concerts because we know that these memories will stay with us forever. Positivus festival will continue to delight thousands of people at the new place in Riga, Lucavsala on July 15th and 16th, 2022.
New York’s hip hop genre star A$AP ROCKY, has collaborations with nearly every biggest start of his genre such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Frank Ocean, Tyler, The Creator, Skepta, FKA Twigs, 21 Savage, London On Da Track, Kid Cudi, Gucci Mane, Santigold, 2 Chainz, Yelawolf. A$AP ROCKY, is known for mixing the seemingly incompatible, creating popular tracks with artists like Tame Impala and Moby.
A$AP ROCKY’s portfolio boasts massive arts, fashion, film and television projects. His debut album “Long.Live.A$AP” arrived in 2013 with the hit single “Goldie.” The successful debut was followed by the 2015 studio album “At Long Last A$AP”, which topped the album charts. In 2018, A$AP Rocky’s third solo album “Testing” (2018) ranked 4th on the “Billboard 200” album list. In April 2019, A$AP Rocky and Joey Bada$$ recorded a song “Too Many Gods,” which was included in the “For the Throne: Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones” tracklist.
This fall, A$AP ROCKY re-released his 10-year-old debut mixtape “Live.Love.A$AP”. It hit music streaming platforms for the first time and included a new song “Sandman” produced by Kelvin Krash and Clams Casino. The album features a number of outstanding collaborations, but A$AP ROCKY’s last real solo single was “Babushka Boi”, released in 2019.
