A$AP ROCKY is set to join the Dour Festival 2021 line-up and will play on the Last Arena – open on Wednesday for the first time!
Organisers have officially reached the peak of Dourstalgia. They are all feeling an XXL dose of Dourstalgia as it’s today, at exactly 12 noon, that Dour Festival should have opened, filling the air with the sound of the mythical “Doureuuuh” of the first festival-goers arriving on site: under the wind turbines, backpacks strapped to their shoulders – desperate to finally enjoy five days of love and music.
While some are looking back to their 2019 feeds to relive the excitement of the festival, others may feel comforted at this time by immersing themselves in the announcement of the first names scheduled for its 2021 edition. Organisers hearts are heavy, without a doubt. So, to help festival-goers get through this time and feel less alone and because the heart of Dour festival is love, the festival team has decided to announce a new name for our line-up.
They couldn’t possibly hold their 2021 edition without inviting A$AP ROCKY, after two failed attempts! The genius of hip hop will definitively grace the Last Arena stage in July 2021 on the Wednesday evening, as organsiers have decided, following the postponement of the 2020 edition, to open the main stage, normally only open from Thursday to Sunday, for the full 5 days of the festival.
That same evening, those looking to take a detour to the Red Bull Elektropedia Balzaal will be rewarded with the music of CARL COX, while AZF will ignite the new La Chaufferie stage.
