High time! Bursting with hope, faith and love, organisers look forward to a radiant summer and to their reunion in Biddinghuizen on 19th – 21st August. Your anticipation starts here and now, because these are the first 68 confirmed acts for Lowlands 2022!
After the legendary breakthrough year 2006, ARCTIC MONKEYS really deepened their sonic palette, from the best British rock-hooks ever to smoky, gritty poetry straight from the soul of frontman Alex Turner.
THE OPPOSITES are back in Biddinghuizen – you will see a show spectacle that has never been seen before, which will write their name in the books forever with flaming kerosene.
STROMAE – The maestro is back with a new album and a new live show, which should make his spectacularly choreographed Alpha performance in 2014 fade. And you can safely leave that to this amiable Belgian.
BALTHAZAR, the diamond cutters of Flemish indie pop return triumphantly to Biddinghuizen. Gentlemen and masters on every stage, but completely unbeatable at festivals. This British quintet of BRING ME THE HORIZON, breaks all rock laws album-in, album-out with their fashionable sneakers and they look good on them. Smear your throat and bam, in that moshpit!
Another UK band, GLASS ANIMALS will be present this summer with their catchy, meticulously orchestrated psychedelic pop from England to dream away. Live far from fragile. GRAMMY-winning Brit, JAMES BLAKE, who colors his melancholic diary musings with cutting-edge electronics, dubstep, alt-R&B, hip-hop, folktronics and more. Dance floor filling electro soul from two London producers JUNGLE plus band, who immediately take a fabulous new record to Biddinghuizen. Text ‘Summer on’ to 8256.
Next up you will swoon over the sweet-voiced soul throat of this lovable Scottish troubadour, LEWIS CAPALDI, soul pain in a wonderfully beautiful jacket. The former Oasis front brother, LIAM GALLAGHER, draws live from the best of his solo records, in addition to a generous selection of Oasis classics. The ultimate sing-along rock show on LL22.
