The ARCTIC MONKEYS will play at Rock in Roma 2023, returning to the capital for a unmissable live appointment: the British rock group will perform on Sunday 16 July 2023 at the Capannelle Racecourse. Before them, on stage, THE HIVES. Opening act will be WILLIE J HEALEY.
The ARCTIC MONKEYS are coming off the release of “The Car”, their seventh studio album, featuring 10 new tracks written by Alex Turner, “The Car” was produced by James Ford and recorded between Butley Priory in Suffolk, RAK Studios in London and La Frette in Paris. With the albumc, the announcement of a European and United States tour that had given Italian fans hope, finally satisfied by today’s news of the two eagerly awaited Italian stages.
On stage before the ARCTIC MONKEYS, THE HIVES, the explosive Swedish band formed in 1993 formed by For Almqvist, Niklas Almqvist, Mikael Karlsson, Christian Grahn and Johan Gustafsson and with five active album. The opening act of the evening will instead be WILLIE J HEALEY, a promising young singer-songwriter of music made in the UK.
The ARCTIC MONKEYS are Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O’Malley and Matt Helders. Born in High Green, Sheffield in 2002, the band has released seven studio albums – the latest being 2022’s ‘The Car’ and a live album ‘Arctic Monkeys Live At The Royal Albert Hall’ (2020), the proceeds of which went to War Child UK.
