THE DARKNESS is a British rock band formed in Lowestoft, England in 2000. Their debut album “Permission to Land” was released in 2003 and THE DARKNESS became a household name. The album was a success and sold over 1.3 million copies. The hit album contained monster hits such as “Love Is Only a Feeling”, “Growing on Me” and last but not least “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”.

The band consists of Justin Hawkins on vocals / guitar, brother Dan Hawkins on rhythm guitar, on the Thunderbird base we see Frankie Puollaine and on the rock hard drums we have Rufus Tiger Taylor!

This fall, they released their seventh studio album “Motorheart” and the glam rockers are extremely tagged on playing for their fans again! When the band describes the new album, they explain that the almighty ‘Ness has never been afraid of clichés, they have de facto built their career on it. “Motorheart” is one of their finest albums since “Permission To Land” and yes, they said that last time, and they will probably say that about the next album as well!
