Swedish metal band Tungsten confirmed for Sabaton Open Air 2020

The metallic element Tungsten has the highest melting point of all metals and has an extremely high density. Translated into musical terms, you can easily say that TUNGSTEN, who visit Sabaton Open Air in the summer of 2020, is a metal band where it surely boils on stage and that they are a heavily tight band.

Not only music-wise, that is. 3/4 of this crew are related, as Anders Johansson (Hammerfall, Y. Malmsteen´s Rising Force and much more) has joined forces with two of his sons: Karl (bass) and Nick (guitar). It is hard to find tighter bonds than blood ties. Singer Mike Andersson (Cloudscape) completes this squad with a strong and very varied voice, which fits TUNGSTEN perfectly. The music is also diverse, as the band mixes influences from both the classic hard rock and contemporary metal music.

The debut album “We Will Rise” was released earlier this year, and so far the tour list is not that massive. Maybe you can be one of those saying “I saw them already in 2020 at Sabaton Open Air” in the future.

Here’s a taste of TUNGSTEN’s music: the title song ”We Will Rise”:
