Festival organisers have previously announced that NEPHEW, THE MINDS OF 99, NIK & JAY and OUT OF CONTROL are confirmed for Nibe Festival 2019. They are now throwing out three more name – SAVEUS, FOLKEKLUBBEN and QUEEN MACHINE into the “program hat”.

This cautious and obviously talented young kid from Ørum, who stormed the kingdom when he won X Factor in 2008, has so far developed into an unprecedented rock star in the lead of SAVEUS. And then no more X Factor talk, because it does not matter in this context.

SAVEUS bounces forward with lots of airplay and sells a lot of tickets at its major venues. The forward-looking band received the honour of opening the Orange stage at Roskilde in 2018, which, according to a single reviewer, was totally “nailed”.

QUEEN MACHINE has been on the bag for many years, and has previously set fire to the immortal Queen classics in the Skalskoven. With QUEEN MACHINE we witness something close, we come to the “real stuff”.

The actuality barometer peaks right now, where people go into the big cinema room to watch the movie “Bohemian Rhapsody”. A gripping, film that tells the story of Freddie Mercury and the other Queen legends.

Violent desire for Nibe – and a real example that it is still possible to deliver “handheld” and authentic music to the masses. The band broke through with “Fedterøv”, later followed the “Kim Larsenske”, beautiful and catchy “Flower and Vase”. Right now the course of the sympathetic trio is crowned with the highly acclaimed album “Black Tulip”, as well as a fierce search for the band’s concerts in larger and larger venues.
