Constantly growing FRANZ FERDINAND complements the line-up of Rock for People

When FRANZ FERDINAND played in the Czech Republic for the first time, their debut CD was not available here. Yet there was a massive interest to see their performance at Roxy in Prague. Over 3.5 million copies of the eponymous album have been sold and ‘Take Me Out or The Dark Of The Matinée’ is one of the jewels of the indie rock scene. The band will bring their current album ‘Always Ascending’ to Hradec Kralove airport but will also give us the songs by which they had conquered the world.

FRANZ FERDINAND is always doing their very best, FRANZ FERDINAND does not age. Even if you experience constant nostalgia the music is fresh, the energy comes from every sound, and you don’t want to miss it!

British group LIFE was formed in 2013. They played at various festivals across the UK and Europe in the past year, and they also toured with Rock for People’s well-known guests Slaves or Idles.

LIFE released their debut album last year “Popular music” that received a lot of attention. British Radio 1 put it in the list of best albums of 2017. Being apolitical without interest in reality is a trend for the past few years but LIFE is mad and attacks this trend with unceasing passion and unmistakable determination. They want to give a voice to unbiased people.

LIFE is clearly aware of the problems of this world and able to incorporate them into the rhythm.

An unexpected fusion of punk rock VYPSANÁ FIXA with the most respected orchestra PKF – PRAGUE PHILHARMONIA is something you shouldn’t miss. Well-known songs by VYPSANÁ FIXA will be arranged by well-respected Czech conductor, composer and pianist Jan Kučera who is principal conductor of Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra.

I think it’ll be a nice combination of two musical worlds. The symphonic background supports nicely the melodic songs by Vypsana Fixa.
