The Irish post-punk five, FONTAINES D.C. return to the INmusic festival stages in June 2022 on the wings of their highly acclaimed follow up album ‘A Hero’s Death’!

Following their Croatian live debut at INmusic festival #14 in June 2019, and barely a year after the release of their hugely acclaimed debut album ‘Dogrel’, which earned a Mercury Prize nomination and Album of the Year 2019 at both BBC 6 Music and Rough Trade record store, Dublin’s FONTAINES D.C. have returned with an intensely confident, patient, and complex follow up album. ‘A Hero’s Death’ arrives battered and bruised, albeit beautiful – a heady and philosophical take on the modern world, and its great uncertainty.

FONTAINES D.C. prove to be a band to look out for, and not to be underestimated, having shown their creative strength by beating Taylor Swift to the UK mid-week album chart their first week of sales of ‘A Hero’s Death’. This time around, there is no excuse or reason to miss out on the performance of a band that is sure to mark its generation.

FONTAINES D.C. will join THE KILLERS, NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS, DEFTONES, BELLE AND SEBASTIAN, and WHITE LIES at the postponed edition of INmusic festival #15 which will take place at Zagreb’s lake Jarun from June 20th to June 22nd, 2022.
